Next summer's 50 Year Anniversary Celebration of the dedication of Korea f or the preaching of the Gospel will have several activities: a Korea area conference, a cultural program, a Korea-wide young-adult conference, and many missionary reunions. 

 

There are also plans to hold an exhibition of pictures and artifacts on the history of the Church in Korea in downtown Seoul over several days during the celebration.  Elder Ko and Brother Choi Suk Koo, who is our Public Affairs Director, also want to be able to put the photo exhibition in several of the other large cities in Korea.


We invite all missionaries who have served in Korea to send us pictures, news clippings, or other artifacts of a historical nature to use in the exhibition.  We need lots of them!  There are two ways they can be sent.

If you have access to a scanner and the Internet, scan in the pictures and send them via the Internet.  A special website and folder have been created by Sister Lee, Min Hee who is coordinating the pictures for the exhibition.  Here are the instructions:

METHOD 1:  Direct Upload

  1. Log on to www.webhard.co.kr
  2. Click on the "English" button in the upper right-hand corner Type in the ID: ldspub
  3. Type in the password: guest
  4. Push" Log in"
  5. Click on "PicturesforLeeMinHee" (It is not necessary to check the box.)
  6. Push the "Upload" button
  7. Click on "Select a file" (NOT "select files")
  8. Use the search button to find the pictures you want to send from your hard drive
  9. Push the "confirm" button, and the picture is automatically sent.
  10. PREFERABLY, THE PICTURES SHOULD BE OVER 300 DPI, as a book containing these pictures may later be published and this degree of resolution is the best.  However, any pictures will be accepted.

 

METHOD 2:  Email to Sister Lee

An alternative would be to send them directly by mail to Sister Lee:

Mark them "Photos for 50th Anniversary Exhibition".  Please send copies only.
